PARKWAY BUILDING
Oregon Cascade performed plumbing and wet-side mechanical for the seven-story building that housed many of the SAIF workers temporarily displaced by the work done on the High Street building across the street. The building was completely remodeled and new large bathrooms on each floor were replaced. During construction, there were portions of the building that needed to stay operable, including the main IT offices that support the entire SAIF agency. Any work that might have affected the IT operation required multiple meetings with the construction team. Any shutdowns to tie in new equipment to existing systems required temporary equipment being brought in to ensure a seamless transition. This was all accomplished on budget and we beat the schedule by over a month.
HIGH STREET BUILDING
Oregon Cascade performed the plumbing and wet side mechanical project with baseboard heater, Active and Passive Sails, and Hydronic reheat VAVs wet side hydronic and full plumbing scope. This building is the main campus of the state run Insurance Company. Construction accommodations required relocating workers to multiple locations around the city, including the Parkway building across the street. Then, once the construction finished at the High Street building, we then moved employees back into their new building and began renovation on the six-story Parkway building.
